Hinze Dam is now open
The wait is over, the Hinze Dam Stage 3 Upgrade is now complete and Hinze Dam is again open to the public. Access is available from Advancetown Road only, via Nerang Murwillumbah Road in Advancetown. Hours of accessibility are between 6.00am and 6.00pm daily. For more information about Hinze Dam and recreation activities please visit www.seqwater.com.au.
Water-based activities
The boat ramp near the intersection of Little Nerang Road and Range Road at Mudgeeraba and new ramp on Nerang Murwillumbah Road (approximately 6.5 kilometres south of Advancetown Road) at Advancetown are open. Please note that no diesel or petrol powered motor boats are permitted at Hinze Dam.
